Hi all, this is a different PET than my other Post. I have some free time currently so I started a lot of repair projects at the same time and request a lot of help. So thanks for your read or reply. But maybe we can preserve another Commodore for the future.
So in this PET I get no image at all. Voltages on the regulators seem fine. Overall power draw seems ok with roundabout 50W. If I connect a datasette it can play and wind. However the screen is blank and blank. No lines or anything on max brightness. If I compare to my other PET I noticed the little glow at the end of the CRT tube (heater?) is super super dimm, barely noticeable. I looked for obvious cap anomalies on the PCB behind/below the monitor and am pretty clueless with CRT tech.
Do you have any ideas based on the description on what I could check or change? Thank you
