hi!

I'm trying to get a terminal app working on my 128DCR + ultimate-ii+. I've done it using the user port and modem emulators there @ 1200, but I'd like to get it working on the new swiftlink emulation.

However, I've not found a working terminal emulator!

Right now I'm looking at Dialogue 128 + Swiftlink. I found a swiftlink specific dialogue 128 image, but when I run it, it immediately jumps through the first menus like the keyboard is stuck, then it hangs.

So, does anyone have a working setup that I can copy? :)

Thanks!

(Getting further - needed to actually create a work disk; running it without the configure.sys file causes things to go Very Loopy.)

It's still not working yet, but baby steps.

Ok, I figured it out. The TL;DR is:

* You need the dialogue 2.2 disk for swiftlink, not the other modems; it won't work otherwise!
* You need to create a work disk, don't just use the disk images off of the internet to run directly
* Set up the Ultimate-II for the emulation to be ACIA on DE00 (default), NMI (not IRQ)
* Then create the work disk, DE00, setup the 128 setup as appropriate
