Does that include CP/M-86?

The Amstrad CPC computers could probably do with a messageboard too!
:) The Jupiter ACE may need one too if there is high demand for it!

CP/M User.

I would include CP/M-86 in this message board and I can change the topic name if you think that's appropriate.

I'll be happy to add topics for any machines or machine categories that folks think will help. I didn't add a ton when I set up the boards for fear of fragmentation but I'm sure we can justify subsections as we grow.

Well perhaps I was getting a little carried away here! :-(

Yes that's understandable, If there is a heavy flow of CP/M-86
threads then that would probably warrant for a new group.

It's perhaps possible that if more people want a group for
there machine in particular (which uses CP/M) to have a
group. For the sake of arguing with others about writing
Amstrad CPC programs in CP/M which don't work in there
version of CP/M is just more relevent to put into an
Amstrad newsgroup (sadily, CP/M for that machine has
been marked as a poor operating system, yet writing
programs in Turbo Pascal for it can be more pleasure
than writing it in interpreted BASIC on the Amstrad!).

BTW, there is one chap in comp.os.cpm who maybe
interested in this group because he is going away
(I think). Maybe they would like to know about this
group.

Regards,
CP/M User! :)

I'm pretty sure comp.os.cpm was one of the groups I posted my announcement about this board in.

Either way, tell him (and all of your classic computer friends) about this board. The more the merrier! :)

Thanks,

Erik

Oh yes, there you are! :)

Oh yes, the folks in comp.os.cpm will know! :)

I haven't tried your site using Arachne yet, but it should be real
treat if it does! :)

Regards.

Any of the members which are part of the
CP/M family should be allowed to be
discussed in the CP/M or MP/M forum,
cause like I might of said earlier, they are
forms of CP/M.

If CP/M-8000 suddenly became hot
discussion to be just in the CP/M forum,
then Erik might create a sub-forum inside
that.

Cheers,
CP/M User.
