Osborne ROM 1.4 vs 1.44

Anyone happen to know the differences between the Osborne 1.4 and 1.44 ROMs? I have both and wondering if I should swap in the 1.44 for any reason. Can’t imagine there’s anything relevant for just playing around with the system but wanted to see if anyone knew a list of the revision history. 1.4 I know is when double density support was added.

The ROM 1.44 source is included in the FOG CPM.008 diskette:

It lists the changes since ROM 1.43. If you can find the earlier sources, you should be able to work backwards to 1.4.

It lists the changes since ROM 1.43. If you can find the earlier sources, you should be able to work backwards to 1.4.

Ok thanks -- that is helpful. I found references to ROM 1.4, 1.43, and 1.44 so possibly just one other set of changes in the 1.43 rev. Screen-Pac manual looks to want 1.43 or higher, so possibly something in 1.43 related to Screen-Pac. I'm not going to worry about it...
