Parting out Osborne I. What is this add-on board? Nuevo Electronics...

I picked up an Osborne with a rough/trashed/smashed case locally. It's missing the keyboard, and it's missing the front clip to activate the internal monitor.

The insides look very new and clean, though, so I am parting it out.

When I went to take pictures, I noticed there is this add-on board from Nuevo Electronics? What is it for?

(I do see it says 80 columns on it. Does that only work on external monitor?)

I had an Osborne with an 80 column card, dunno if it was the same one, and it worked on the internal monitor as well as a composite adapter on the card edge. Teeny little letters…

The double density floppy upgrade maybe? This allows it to use standard 360K floppies.

That Osborne labeled daughterboard with the 34 pin header on it is either a DD upgrade or an external data separator. Later Osbornes came with that.

The case was wrecked, as was the handle. It was left out on a porch for year. Out of the rain, but not out of the humidity of the South...

Sorry to revive an old thread, but... I couldn't find documentation for the Nuevo Electronics 80 column card referenced above. I have the same, and can only find the Nuevo DD docs, but not the 80 Column card ones.
So, any leads on Nuevo documentation?
