I’m looking for a pen replacement for my DTR-1 and several posts I found while googling mention a Fujitsu battery powered pen, but without any details.
which model should I search for (for which Fujitsu tablet)? Or Any other model that would work with the DTR-1?

No idea which one would be a good replacement. I've got an original stylus, but it's falling apart and I haven't been able to get it to work. I can't remember the name of the digitizer manufacuter, that would probably help. If you've got yours handy, does it say who made the digitizer when it boots up? Pretty sure it was a well known company, but not Wacom.

Just realized my parts dauphin was hiding in a pile on my desk :) The digitizer is a Kurta, looks like maybe a stylistic 500?

From https://groups.google.com/g/comp.sys.pen/c/9Wu5w6511gE/m/H1fT-S5C3NYJ

In my experience, I have found the following pens work on a St500.

Fujitsu Stylistic compatible pens:
- All seem to be manufactured by Kurta and use three 393 button
batteries.
- Dauphin DTR1/DTR2 pen has right button and fits ST500 the stylus
garage, (but not in 1000,1200,2300). (FCC ID:DMAKCP3)
- Telxon (electro-magnetic) NO right button, fits in the stylus
garage of all Stylistics.
- Kurta based pen tablets -
Appoint Giliffic (FCC ID:IDHGLIF100) came with a Pen and two-button
Mouse (FCC ID:IDHGLIF200)
Kurta Dabbler (Model:penmouse) (FCC ID:DMA-9216)
