Ok, I've got all the system disks for the Excutive but nowhere can I find a command for formatting a floppy. I know about the CP/M command sysgen but that isn't anywhere on the disks....any owners out there have any ideas?

Hmm, I use the "copy" command on my Kaypros to format floppies. Likely Executive is the same. Command comes up with a menu with "format" on it.

Sounds like it because I have a book on the Osborne 1, and it contains:
The COPY program can format (prepare) new diskettes to hold information and copy the contents of one diskette to another.
Both functions can be selected from a menu after the program is run.

My thanks to you both. CP/M is a new beastie to me.
