I recently acquired a Sharp PC 7100 without documentation. At first sight that was no problem, but all of a sudden the hard disk drive isn't recognized any more. The drive might be damaged, but maybe just the BIOS settings ( hard disk parameters ) have been deleted. The onboard setup routine doesn't provide settings for the hard drive. So probably there was a floppy disk- based HD-configuration program on the original system disk(s)? If I had such a tool, next question would be: which would be the correct figures (cylinders, heads, sectors) for the standard 20 MB HD ?
