I just picked up a ZEOS Notebook 386 cheap from ebay, and much to my surprise 2 of the 3 batteries still work! I clocked both of them and got 40min runtime on the first one, and 1hour 25min on the 2nd, 3rd is dead shorted, but probably rebuildable.

Hard drive was shot in it, but I stuck a 20GB IBM drive with the IBM version of Ontrack DiskManager, running 10x 2GB partitions, then I loaded up MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1.

ZEOS was a good brand back in the day. I have a 386/33 desktop they made in mint condition and I love it.

Yeah I had been a fan of ZEOS since the 90's, my first laptop was a ZEOS Meridian 400c 486 DX4-100. I always liked that they were based in my home state too ;-)

Looks like a nice piece of kit, always had a soft spot for sub-notebook sized things. I had one in the early 2000s, but swapped it for a moped :(
