Blagged myself a nice little HP-95LX from Ebay over the New Year period for a bargain price. (Sometimes the Xmas slowdown works in your favour).

I found that I could use one of the 2MB Mitsubishi Melcards I have lying around (usually used for my Amstrad NC100s as storage.) so I can keep the RAM disk low, and the operating memory high.

Top notch machine!

Great find. I was using a 95LX in medical school for note taking (surprisingly not impossible on that keyboard) and other utility stuff before I moved up to a Palm m505. When I was over in Malaysia, one of my hosts had a 100LX which was his constant companion. I wrote stuff for it in Turbo Pascal and shuttled things over through the built-in terminal.

I've still got that 95LX, plus a 100LX, a 200LX and the OmniGo with the built-in Nokia GSM phone cradle. Delightful units.

At the first clinic I worked at, the HP EKG machine had a display that looked suspiciously like the 95LX ...
