HP 95LX and Motorola NewsStream

Hello!

So I recently acquired a HP95LX with a NewsStream and the cradle to put them both together. I was wondering if anyone has found a way to spoof the radio signal that would've originally gone to the NewsStream beeper back when the service was active. I wonder if there is a way to replicate it and have the NewsStream get data to the HP 95LX. Just wanted to know if anyone has ever toyed with it or if anyone has used the NewsStream before.

As there was not much response to your thread...
Yes I toyed with it back in '92 or '93. I was a sales rep for HP palmtop solutions and ran around the world's bigges computer fair CeBIT in Hannover Germany with it. Actually using it every day.
It worked like a charm. You could either call an operator to send a message or push messages via modem.
Cool like hell back then. It was obvious, that GSM SMS text would kill the idea.
