Osborne 1 from Germany - power supply voltage switch?

Hello, everyone. I just found a pair of luggables which had apparently been brought over from Germany, a Nixdorf PC-02 (rebadged version of the Panasonic Senior Partner) and an Osborne 1. The Osborne 1 has a QWERTZ keyboard, and a power supply which is apparently 220V only (no switch on the back). My questions are as follows:

  1. Can the power supply be switched internally for 120V operation?
  2. Would it be safe to test the computer on 120V to see what it does before trying a step-up transformer?
  3. Would it be possible to switch the keyboard to the usual QWERTY layout, or something approximating it?
I ask because I'd rather not have to use a step-up transformer all the time, and the Nixdorf is listed as having a 120V power supply, so I wonder if the Osborne might've already been converted for 120V operation (if possible). Anyway, here are some photos of the Osborne 1:

Thanks in advance!
