This some information that I originally posted on my old laptop repair website that's long gone these days. I want to post it here so the information remains available to collectors of these laptops.
"The Alphatop Green 755 laptop was sold by many brands of "white-box" generic laptop OEM's plus it was also sold as the Micron TransPort VLX and even sold as the NEC Ready 220T - 240T series of laptops. I have been informed that the Zenith Z-Star 700 also appears to have been a Green 755. I have not been able to verify that on my own. No matter if you have a generic Green 755 or one of the custom labeled versions - all are identical under the skin. Plastic case cosmetic details or case colors may vary, but the main electronics are all the same. LCD's range from commonly found 11.3" dual scan, 11.3" TFT (rare) and on up to 12.1" dual scan and TFT versions. LCD lid plastics is nearly impossible to find in like new condition."
I do have some spare parts for these models.
