A seller can ask whatever opening bid price they want. There's often a very large gap between asking price, and selling price.

Wait 'till it gets a bid, and only then will there be something to contemplate...

I bought this laptop new when i was doing my Product Design Engineering Masters at Loughborough University

I see someone's still trying to pay off their tuition fees.

I am selling this as a rare collectors item, at the point of writing this ad there were no Powerbook 170 on ebay at all.

I almost want to put one up in spite at $50.
