I've got an unidentified 486 motherboard here with a SX-25 in it. I couldn't get it to work so I got out my old ISA BIOS tester and it reads the codes in this order: 06-10, stops on 13 for about 20 seconds and then it stops on 00 and doesn't change at all. The BIOS (based on chip markings) is an AMI 486DX ISA BIOS. After searching for both AMI POST Codes and AMI 486 ISA BIOS post codes I got nothing at all but a bunch of different revisions of the BIOS and different codes for them, but no 486DX ISA BIOS.

Thanks to anyone that might be able to help me!

Ok, this board has one chip that looks like a keyboard controller, a "MEGA-KB-H-WP" and all I have are KB3600-PRO controllers :/. Is the MEGA-... chip the controller and if it is would it be safe to swap with a KB3600-PRO chip?

I've swapped keyboard chips before, and nothing bad has ever happened, however the only time it worked was when I replaced the faulty chip with an identical one. :p
