Correct, have been in contact off-and-on over the last 5 or so years. He's not currently interested in selling any Eclipse stuff, but has been helpful with information and documentation.

Picked up a Rolm 1666 the other day and have not looked at it too much but think the 1666 is the eclipse system that replaced the Nova compatible 1602.
Wonder if the Eclipse runs the same source code as the Nova in a backwards compatible Data General World?
Wonder if I can find Basic compiler for it?

Yes, the Eclipse can run Nova code. If it didn't, Data General would have had to modify or rewrite all their software to run on it.

Data General's BASIC was interpreted, not compiled. I wonder what ever became of the source code listings I had for Extended BASIC - I never throw anything out ;-)
