Found in a trash bin several very old dumb terminals, the copper scrappers have gotten to some of them they where shattered into pieces.
But lucky for me managed to get a complete 5291 from there just before meeting the end :D.
Here a couple of pictures:
The computer powers up and the display is nice and crisp, but show this pipes covering the screen no beep or anything.
Enabling the TEST jumpers does nothing seems there's something bad in the main board.
Got the service manual from IBM but little information in there, it tells you to "replace the board" and nothing about fixing or issues.
All the voltages are OK and present -5 +15 +5v
Now not sure where even to start don't recognize most of the chips.
Maybe someone familiar to this terminals may now better, any help is welcome !.
