anyone into all this? There were 2, one full blown write up, multiple issues, another was a single article which described (briefly) a project in Europe where some group created there own 68k vanilla box (in a vanilla pc type box in fact). I don't have the issue in front of me, sorry.
The author of the earlier mentioned system appeared somewhere, on classicmp or here, can't remember, and offered a complete kit for a whopping 1200$ IIRC. Wouldn't sell individual components. So what would be appreciable is to hear from someone on the other side of the world that knows of the system that was built over there. Preferably someone who owns or has access to one.

I know this is a long dead post, but it actually started the trail of bread crumbs for me-- I was trying to remember which magazine I'd see the "PC/AT like 68000" project in. I remembered about when it was, just not where. Anyway, armed with 'Radio Electronics' I found the PT-68K and more. Pasting archive.org links here for future generations:

Jan 1988 = MISSING :-(

I still have mine :) But haven't thought about it in years. I've decided to pass it on to someone who's more interested.

If anyone's interested:
The PT68K2 was covered in more than one issue: It was covered in the following issues:
Radio Electronics 1987-10/11/12
Radio Electronics 1988-01/ not 02/03/04/05/06/07/08/09/10

Does anyone have a photocopy of the bareboard? The original board is no longer for sale, and I would like to re-make the board

As far as I can tell this series for the PT-68K computer ran with few interruptions (13 issues in total) until January 1989, I found no further mention of it after RE covered the Atari ST Computer.

You can find every issue of Radio Electronics - any many other early electronic hobby magazines - at worldradiohistory.com link below

January 1988 page 90 is Part 4 of Build the PT-68K
