So, I finally got around to using some jb-weld to glue the broken CRT mounting standoffs on the the case of my Columbia Data Product VP. So far, it seems to be holding up ok.

I discussed that here: https://www.vcfed.org/forum/forum/genres/pcs-and-clones/79394-broken-crt-mounts-how-might-i-fix-this
And the write up about the system is here:
https://www.vcfed.org/forum/forum/ge...ortable-1600vp

After doing that and some other fixups, I wanted to tweak the screen position, height, and width. There are a number of pots on the analog board, but oddly not one for width. Instead, there is an inductor, L403, that is labeled "width". There is a ferrite core inside of it that looks like it should be adjustable with an allen wrench, but it won't budge and it was already slightly cracked from the damage sustained during shipping. The inductor next to it also sustained some damage, but seems to be working.

So that seems to be the only way to adjust the video width on this machine.

Perhaps I should replace these inductors, but without schematics, I have no idea what they are rated for.

Not sure what else to do. Any ideas?
