Hey y'all,
I am looking for a good working Newbury Data NDR 2190 Hard drive, or maybe what would be an acceptable replacement. I have searched Google, Ebay, and so forth. we bought one from Ebay (supposedly working) but it was bad... Anyone have any other ideas?

Looks like that is a standard MFM ST-506/412 hard drive. My emulator may work. http://www.pdp8online.com/mfm/. Tested configurations are what people have reported to me as working. Not listed system frequently work ok. Maxtor XT-2190 and DEC RD54 are similar drives.

Wasn't Newbury simply re-badging Maxtor hard drives? I think the original is a Maxtor XT-2190, but there were a bunch of FH ST506 15/1224 manufacturers. Miniscribe and Priam come immediately to mind.
