Hello.

I've run across some memory card, I think it's for some early PC.
The card seems to be a typical 8-bit ISA card with 62-pin connector.
It contains 36 (9x4) KM41256AP-12 chips, so it must be in total 1 MB of RAM + parity.
Apart from that, nothing. No other chips, no jumpers.
On the PCB is wrtitten "RAM-1", and "MADE IN TAIWAN".

Any idea what this card is for and how it's supposed to work? Obviously some RAM (expansion?) card, but it seems to me that plugging it into PC/XT's slot would make it fill up all the address space, and cause conflict with everything including ROM BIOS and video RAM...

Can you provide a picture?

Are you sure there aren't any else kind of IC's on the board? There should at least be some starting with the number 74...

It might be a RAM board for some special designed clone.

Yeah, a picture would help. It might be a dedicated RAM card for system or industral backplane-type system.
Is there a FCC-ID number on the back of, by any chance ?
