Gang,

I am a vindictive cuss. The idiot on ebay that sold me a Hardware Maintenence and Reference manual appears to have sold me the wrong slip case for it - it's sorta wrapped around the binder and the binder is slightly crushed. The manual fits better into other slipcases I have. I want to leave negative feedback but I want to be sure that he misrepresented the item before I do. Can anyone tell me if the slipcase I've got is the wrong one from the catalog number on it? Here are the numbers:

The HM&R has 6280088 and S229-9604-00. The case has 6138312 printed just inside of it. Anyone?

Thanks,
Sean

I have a HMR 6280088 (S229-9604-00). The number on the inside of the slip case is 6081488.
6081488 is also the slip case for my matching HMS of 6280087, my Options & Adapters manuals, and certain other manuals of mine.

Hardware Maintenance & Reference I don't have (didn't know there was one), but I do have two of the Hardware Maintenance & Service. They are:

First Edition August 1981
Binder: 6025072
Slipcase: 6025144
Manual itself (1 volume): 6025075

Revised Edition (Revised April 1983)
Binder: 6025072
Slipcase: GSS 6081488
Manual itself (1 volume): 1502233

The Binder numbers on the two volume Hardware Maintenance & Service are 6322512.

I don't have any slipcases numbered 613812.
