I pulled my old Dell Sysyem 310 out of my closet to try it out, but when I plugged it in, I smelled smoke. So I switched it on, heard an "electrical spark" sound, but nothing came to life. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it powered on just fine! Even though it works, I don't leave it on very long because I can still smell a strong electrical smell coming from the power supply fan. Anyone know where to get another power supply that fits this computer, as I would like to keep it working.

Probably the AC line safety cap blew, or possibly some tantalum. Open the power supply up and have a look. Should be fairly obvious what went *poom*. Should be a simple fix, especially since it still works.

You let the magic smoke out! Oh no! :(
Pop that supply apart and check for blown capacitors.
