Tandon TM100 spinde motor speed problem

Hi all!

My Tandon TM-100-2A is having problems with the speed of the spindle.
Spinde speed will not stay constant no matter how I adjust. After adjustment I can somtimes get the drive to format and read/write. The next time I turn on the machine I have to reapet the adjustment.

Any ideas?

Maybe the servo board is failing, I experienced a similar problem and I fixed it replacing some components:

Also, check for bad bearings or a slipping belt. Both happen on old drives.
