I fired up my old Compaq Portable II and of course, the battery is dead. So I need to hunt down a battery and the diagnostic disks. The web link I found for SP0316.ZIP doesn't have the files anymore, just a .txt file describing it.
I am trying to install a Capitol Equip. Corp (Keithley) 488 card but it is causing a parity error 2. I have tried all combinations of settings on the board but it either disables the Compaq video or causes the parity error. I want to run the diagnostics first then go from there.
