It is possible to create an adapter to connect a standard floppy drive to an ibm ps/1 or ps/2?
My ps1 floppy drive dont work,i want a solution to this problem.

I'm assuming that you've tried to clean the drive heads with a cotton swab and alcohol, checked for bad capacitors, etc? - If not, you might want to do that really quick. Undoubtedly, correcting those issues will be easier than constructing an adapter, and besides, it'll keep your ps/1 or ps/2 looking original w/ that cool big blue button rather than hacked up with a standard fugly floppy drive!

i only want an adapter to install the software, with the pc case opened, not to change the original floppy drive.
I try cleaning the head quickly as you have suggested.
But is possibile to connect a new floppy drive through an adapter?
I remember that i have read of a guy that has constructing an adapter, with a simple cable.

I think you'll have to make your own cable on this one. IBM PS/1 and PS/2 connectors were different and designed only for their own set of parts.
