MFM Drive questions about parking the heads

So I have a FH ST506 based drive and I applied power to it and it spun up and initialized.

Now I want to ship it to someone and as I understand it these drives don't auto park the heads. So is there a way to get it to park the heads before I ship it without actually hooking it up to a machine?

Not really as the heads are parked by a host sending a seek to the specified landing zone. For some drives that might be an actual track number beyond the usable range, for others it's just any track number beyond the usable range.

I don't think there's a way to park it without running a parking program.
