VGA Wonder XL Port

Just picked up a VGA Wonder XL. I see it has a VGA port, a mouse bus port, and another port. Is the third port a serial port, MDA port, CGA port?

Also, mine is populated with 8 44C256BP chips, so I'm assuming that it's the 1MB version?

I believe it's EGA.

It is most likely EGA as evildragon said - although some cards did CGA and MDA as well on those ports.

It is the 1Mb version you have.

How do you know it's a mouse bus port? I would've expected S-Video to be much more likely.

I read online and someone said it was a mouse bus port. I think it has too many pins for s-video, though I agree it would make more sense

Ah yep.
I have no idea, just hadn't heard of that before. I see that some models had SB clones built in, which was pretty neat.

Yea definitely a bus-mouse port. Same mini DIN as the model 2 Sega Genesis AV connector.

Thanks. Wow this looks like a nice little card. Compatible with 8 or 16 bit ISA and pretty much anything from Monochrome up to VGA.
