Bill Gates and Paul Allen Photo

The one system I can be fairly sure is in the front row middle of both pictures. In the older picture, it is a Heathkit H-88 or the terminal version H-19; newer picture replaces with the Zenith branded counterpart Z88. Would be numbered 89 if it had a floppy drive installed. I think the back row of the new picture includes a Kaypro with maybe a Sanyo in the front left. Older picture front row on left is NEC PC 8001.

I like it though. Cool that the two are still in touch. Also a probable contender for some vintage computing events to occur in the Washington area perhaps which is always good. Was anyone on the board here involved in the purchase they did in Kerrville?

Over on cctalk there was a difficult to argue answer.
Back row, L-R : Apple II (Serial no. A252-223242) with two Apple disk II (Serial nos. 663608 and 1028507) and TMC S9 Picture Monitor (Serial no. 1098) ; Intertec Superbrain (Serial no. 355129) [Replacing the original photograph's Datapoint 8200].

Front row, L-R : Sanyo MBC-550 (Serial no. 18221141) with Panasonic RGB monitor (Serial no. EC3430061) and keyboard (Serial no. 18221149) [Replacing the original photograph's NEC PC-8001] ; Zenith Data Systems Z-19 (Serial no. J128P106) ; Commodore Pet (Serial no. 0010850) ; and TRS-80 I (Serial no. 355129) with monitor and expansion unit.

Replacement computers are of similar form factor and also ran early Microsoft software.
