Hi, I've bought a Tulip AT compact 2 (80286 PC) with a ATRAMBANK XMS 16 bit XMS card (Rev7). The BIOS reconize it as 2Mb XMS memory but MS-DOS doesn't do anything with it. If I run a game, like Keen, it ignore XMS/EMS. So I think I need a MS-DOS driver. But where can I find it, and how does it work?ATRAMBANK.jpg

The actually manufacturer name is DFI (AT-rambank / 2000a).. But back in the days a company called JDR microelectronics sold them under the brand Modulair Circuit technology.( it think is a sub brand, or DFI sold them to an other company also) I have both 8-bit version for the XT and the 16-bits at my place.. Both i bought them from ebay..

There i one driver available and it seems it should work on both boards..

You need these drivers:
http://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=210997

Here they are free from the JDR micro devices website (found with the wayback machine)

http://web.archive.org/web/20010609052411/http://ftp.jdr.com/ftp/io_controllers/

You need this file..
AEMS256.ZIP

Let me know if it worked for you.
I didnt test it.
