Epson PC video cards

CGA, and emulated CGA with 16 shades if connected to a monochrome monitor. This is from the hazy memory of someone who used an Epson Equity 1 for a few weeks back when they were new, so I could be wrong. The connector is on the motherboard so you wouldn't need an add-in card.

I have an Equity II+, it came with a Paradise V16 (16-bit ISA with 256k ram).

I believe they came with the ATI Small Wonder, which provides CGA, MDA, Hercules, Plantronics (like CGA but with full 16-color graphics), and unusually, support for 16 shades of gray/green/amber on a monochrome MDA monitor by using pulse width modulation, and emulation of MDA/Hercules via the composite video output by using interlacing.

The Equity I+ my dad bought in 1988 or so had a Tseng ET1000 Hercules clone card in it, but that may have been something the store selling it put in.
