Hi,

Lately I've been replacing a lot of 10uf 16v capacitors in my IBM computers and expansion cards. A lot of the times due to shorts on the 12V / -12V lines.

I was wondering if I should stock up on a set of common capacitors used in these machines, and if so, what are some of the most common values / types inside old IBM computers (5150 / 5160 / 5155 / 5170) and their expansion cards that are error prone.
Or are the vast majority of issues related to these 10uf 16v tantalum capacitors

Thx.
