IBM 5162 and 1.44MB Floppy Driver

Hi, first of all sorry for my poor english.
I have an IBM 5162 (DOS v3.3) equipped with HD and 1.2MB Floppy drive. I would like to add a 3.5-inch 1.44MB reader. Full compatibility with this format is indicated on the minuszerodegrees website, but in the IBM Technical Reference (68x2537) chapter 8-5 only compatibility with the 720KB format is reported.
I installed a 1.44MB reader and launched the Setup program "ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS FOR IBM XT / 5162 AND AT / 5170 - VERSION 2.06 (IBM part number 68X2696)" to update the configuration, when asked for the format of the second floppy it proposes only formats 360KB, 1.2MB and 720KB, no reference to 1.44MB.
Can you tell me how to show my system 1.44MB format.

You can use " GSetup " on your 5162 to set the floppy to 1.44, You can get GSetup from Modem7's great website, This Page refers to the 5170 mostly but GSetup also works for the 5162.

Thanks a lot, with GSETUP I solved the problem. Now I can use the 1.44MB floppy on my 5162. Regards.
