Dear all,
I just got an IBM PC/AT 5170 with one strange 8-bit ISA card in it. The card has a 25-pin male D-Sub connector on the slot cover, which just looks like the RS-232 port on the IBM Asynchronous Communications Adapter. The print on the PCB says: Card ASM-SOLC Adapter. Another stamp says: 6137397XM. In Checkit 3.0 the card is not recognizes as a serial adapter. What else could it be?
Best Regards
Jens
