PC Convertible display adapter help needed.

Hello! I have a PC Convertable display adapter and one of the capacitors on the board has gone bad . I have the number from another capacitor on the board which is 106, 16k, but I can't find a replacement capacitor for it. The capacitors have three legs. If anyone has any information on these capacitors I would be very grateful.

Those are old-style tantalums. IBM was very fond of those.

100uF, 16V. You can use one with two legs as a replacement.

Right, of course. 107 would be 100 μF. Hate those numbers...

It's easy if you think in scientific notation 106 = 10. x 10⁶ pF.
