I have begun working on a CompuPro system. It's a "new" S-100 like the California Computer Systems 2200 and the XOR S-4. I have been able to get it up and running and to boot a number of OS's. The link at the bottom leads to some boot screen pics.

When Bill Godbout got a lot of requests to run PC-DOS on the 85/88 boards, he balked at the terms Microsoft was asking for MS-DOS licensing.

So Compupro offered a way to take a PC-DOS 1.1 system, purchased from your friendly IBM retailer and substitute the IBMBIO.SYS file for their own.

You might see if you can find anything about this. I don't know if it worked with PC-DOS 2.x. I recall doing a version of 22Nice that ran on the 85/88 under PC-DOS for a friend. I may still have the files.

I do have a copy of MS DOS for the CompuPro...Once VCF is over and I have more time I will see if I can fire it up, make copies of the disk for posterity/archive purposes.
