Anyone have the part # for the Sol-20 Cassette jack J6

I have a cracked one and want to replace it with the exact same jack so I'm looking for the brand and part#.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Corey,

A while back I built a replica of the Votrax Type N Talk. I tried to replicate the pcb as exactly as possible. I could be wrong, but I think it used the exact same 3.5mm pcb mount socket as the Sol J6.

I got these on ebay (but I don't know if they had a type number). I'll do some detective work and try to figure out where it came from.

I'm pretty sure these are the ones, I got them from the UK I think. I will double check that they have the same footprint as the SOL ones:

I just had a look in my SOL, it does look like these sockets are compatible types, so worth a go at least.

They fit, not exact match but close enough that if you change both, you'll never know...

I'm glad that worked out.

I have noted quite a few SOL_20's have a lot of corrosion on those connectors, so now we know where to get new ones.
