I have this software terminal program on disk and it loads just fine. I have a device plugged into the RS-232 port. It is in terminal mode - however when I try to type it immediately throws this error "Write fault error writing device AUX". What could be the problem?

What I find interesting is that the MS-DOS manual for the T2K only mentions AUX, but the addendum for DOS 2.11.01 refers to the COM device in the description of the MODE program. I might try COM as the device and see if that works.

Did you test the port itself with a full-handshaking loopback adapter? You didn't say what kind of device is connected, but some ports expect hardware handshaking...so it's possible that the aux port doesn't like whatever you have connected to it.
