The /p doesn't work in mem /c/p on my Tandy 1000 (MS-DOS 6.22)

The /p doesn't work in mem /c/p on my Tandy 1000 (MS-DOS 6.22).

It doesn't pause. Anyone ever seen this?
 
It works on the PC-DOS 2000 install on my HX, but I guess that isn't the same thing.

You could always resort to "mem /c | more", I guess.
 
I haven't tried resorting to |more yet because the hold button is so easy to press, but I just wonder why it would act differently.
 
are you in 40 column mode or 80? A lot of the later DOS commands don't like 40.
