Does the Tandy 1000A have a volume control?

I noticed a pot at R1 right near where the speaker plugs into the motherboard. Could this be a volume? The volume is currently way too loud.
 
I adjusted it and indeed it is a volume control. Looks completely different than the one in the video, but that is a SX.
