This IBM 5150 was my first computer and I purchased it in 1984.
I used it at work until I replaced it with a Dell 286 unit. It became my home PC and I added hardware enhancements to it until it reached its upgrade limits.
(After my Dell 286 was replaced by a self-built Cyrix 486SX unit, I recycled some of it's quality parts into the IBM 5150.)

The specs for the 5150 are as follows:

Original Motherboard
Original 150w. power supply
NEC V20 CPU chip (12Mhz speed)
Intel C8087-3 Math co-processor (w. gold top and legs)
Adaptec Hard Drive controller card
1 half-height 5.25" FDD (Toshiba)(double sided)
1 3.5" FDD (Sony)(double sided)
AST SixPak Plus card w. Memory, clock/calender, Parallel and Serial ports
640KB total memory
EGA video card
2400 Baud modem
FDD controller card
Mouse & newer Keyboard
70MB "Control-Data" HD (not working)
No monitor included.
The case is in very good shape and blemish free.

The last time I fired it up, the HD made a clicking sound and wouldn't boot-up. (Is that always a terminal symptom? Can it be fixed?)
Anyway, with a new hard drive, this PC should run fine.
Some documentation and utility programs included.
I will take and send pics, if you want.
Contact me and we can figure out a fair price and how to ship, etc.
Thanks, John
