Another from my inbox:
Per Bill: "I'll give it to anyone who will pick it up in Chicago. If I can make something, that's fine, but not my biggest motivator."
So, if you can pick up some, or preferably all, of this stuff in Chicago please contact Bill at WilliamAHansen .AT. onlymyNOSPAMemail .DOT. com
Please don't bother him with shipping requests and other things not offered.
Also, please post here if you claim these items.
Thank you and best of luck.
After 30 years in the business, I am downsizing and need to give up my vintage computer collection. While I’d prefer to sell the collection as a whole, I’d also entertain bids on individual pieces or donations to worthy causes.
Here is what I have:
Hardware
· Altos Z86 processor with dual 8” floppy drives
· Televideo 925 monitor
· Televideo 2000 ASCII programmable monitor
· NEC Spinwriter (with set of print wheels)
· IBM PC AT (8MHz, 086 processor, 10M hard drive, 3.5” and 5.5” floppy drives)
· PS/2 Color Display 8512
· Star SG-10 Dot Matrix printer
· Gateway 2000 (286) model LPMINI-P55C-200 desktop PC with Windows 95
· Gateway 2000 PS-120 (386) tower (20M and 10M hard drives, CD player and 3.5” diskette with Windows 98)
· Tatung Color Monitor CM 1498X
· HP LazerJet II with paper tray and Jetware font cartridges and original manuals
· Toshiba Satellite 486 laptop (model 1910CS) with Windows 3.11
· Gateway 2000 54551 tower (model AM424E/25CH-1)
· Gateway 2000 (386) tower 54552 (model TM244E/25CH-1)
All of this still worked the last time I checked.
Altos manuals
· system tech manual
· Digital Research CP/M
· MicroPro Wordstar, Calcstar, StarIndex, Supersort
· MP/M Programmer’s Guide
· Basic Computer Games
PC AT Manuals
· DOS Version 3.10
· Basic 3.0
· PC AT Installation and Setup
· PC AT Guide to Operations
· Basic Handbook
· Basic Quick Rference Guide
· DOS 3.1 Application Setup Guide
· DOS 3.1 Users’ Guide
· Logitech Pop-Up DOS
· Logitech Mouse
Several cases of misc software and diskettes
300 unused 5.25” diskettes
In all, I have 20 cases boxed and ready to pick up or ship. My wife is treatening to call 1-800-GOT-JUNK, but I'd rather find a worthy home.
