The 8087 math coprocessor isfor the 16-bit 8086 and 8088 microprocessors in the IBM XT and compatibles. It fits into a 40-pin dual in-line package (DIP) socket on the motherboard.

This is the rare "GOLD" coprocessor (C8087-3) marked 14350023 by Intel dated '80 '81. It is in excellent condition, stored in a proper foam pad with no bent pins and is guaranteed to work.

$35 including shipping to US, inquire for shipping outside US.

Actually all 8087's I have seen so far has been the golden "C" version, so I wouldn't nessecarely call it "rare gold version" as if compared to the other versions. However, 8087's are in general uncommon, but I would say it's still possible to obtain easily.

Thanks for the correction, I apologize for any misrepresentation, just going by what I've read on the forums.
