For Sale: NorthStar Dimension, appears complete in original packaging sold "AS IS". $100
This is a rare and unusual early PC work-alike computer. The NorthStar Dimension is somewhat of a mix between an S-100 box and a PC clone but not quite either one. Very infrequently do this computers come up for sale. I suspect few remain in existence since NorthStar did not make very many of these before they went out of business.
Due to the large size and weight of this computer box it must be picked up in person. No shipping.
The NorthStar Dimension is an early PC work-alike with 80186 CPU. It is a multiuser system and ran MS-DOS.

From the above site: "In 1984 NorthStar announced their NorthStar Dimension. This was a server computer. It utilized an Intel 80186 CPU. The Dimension employed multiple screens each connected to a PC-compatible 8086-based slot card that mounted in the server. The screens and keyboards then connected to the workstation cards in the server. The unit shipped with MS-DOS. However Novell NetWare was available as an option."
Please contact me at LYNCHAJ@YAHOO.COM if interested. Thank you!
