Just unexpectedly found an Asus server in a pile of computer cables and keyboards.

Works, has a Pentium Pro CPU, I think 200MHz, and 128MB SIMMS with SCSI disc and Tandon tape drive, looks like DC600 style?

Unbelievable filthy dirty, left out in the rain to get a wash! The tower case is too big to send anywhere, besides was locked inside a security cage that needed an angle grinder to unlock.

Any interest? These are good gold recovery chips but any use as a working part? The 1 gram of gold is 25GBP.

Might be interested in board, CPU, ram and gfx if it takes standard power and fits an at case? Especially so if it carries FCC and/or CE mark on the board and has ISA slots.

It is an Acer computer, not Asus.

Can't see any FCC or CE marks on the PCB. Type M11A MB 96105-2 48.59101.021.

There are three 16 bit ISA slots and four PCI slots. The power connector is the old AT style with 12 pins in a line. Boards are all PCI, Adaptec SCSI to 50 pin header connector, ATI PCI MACH64 VGA and NICP20 Ethernet. Board should fit in a standard AT case assuming holes for keyboard and mouse. CPU fan will obstruct most card positions.

The four boards weigh 1kg, gold scrap value £5. Scrap value on four SIMMs is £5. Postage on the whole lot assuming it will go small parcel is £5.

There is also a SCSI hard drive and Tandberg tape drive.
