FS: Early Apple Printer

Apple's first printer, SilenType thermal printer, c.1979. Working condition unknown, no way to test it. No manual, software, etc. $hipping, or what'cha got to swap?

Usually, even on these old printers, holding down one of the panel keys, (it varies by make and model) while turning the unit on, will initiate the self test process.

While I know what you're talking about, I'm fairly certain the Silent Type doesn't have any buttons.
And it prints on thermal paper (ew!)

Yah, dot's right. No buttons. Not even a regulation power cord, it apparently gets it's power thru the (9-pin) interface cable.

Gee, I thought one of our hard-core Apple collectors would grab this up. Anybody want it for just shipping cost? (Don't be afraid of the cost, this printer is very small & light weight (~10 lbs?) for a printer of it's vintage).
