I have a Commodore CBM Model 8032 computer, in working condition, that I'd like to give away. When powered up, the screen says: *** commodore basic 4.0 *** / 31743 bytes free / ready. This computer belonged to my son, who left it behind when he moved out of my home and he no longer wants it. If no one claims it, this computer will soon go to my local e-recycling center. I live in Livermore California, which is near San Francisco. If you'd like to have this computer, and are willing to either come get it or pay shipping charges, please e-mail me at: dremseNOSPAM@comcastNOSPAM.net or phone me at 925-447-5623. Thanks! I sent him an email and called on the phone, that should do it. He was out a few ago (6:45pm 7-26). I'll be more than happy to pay shipping on that baby.

I also warned him about the "bots" in a recent email.

I hope it is well packaged or a careful shipping company. An 8032 is not a light unit, and you know as well as me it has an integrated monitor that may come loose if the package is manhandled.

I think I have a dual disk drive unit for this system in the repair queue, it's an 8050, I believe. Fortunately, it has built in diagnostics as I don't have a Pet or the IEEE cable with it.

Thanks for posting it here Dennis! You certainly found a crowd that would keep it out of a dump ) It's a nice "little" system. I've always been fond of the Pet series.
