"An introduction to a new way of Organizing[sic] and Accessing Information"
This hardback book from 1989 can be had for the price of postage.
It's funny, but in it's 150+ pages, Microsoft only gets the 1 mention, and that's for Microsoft Bookshelf. This was the days before Microsoft U-turned on its Internet policy.
Enjoy!
