Is 4116/4164/41256 memory buying such a lottery now?

Most of the memory that I have bought in the last two years is bad, and doesn't pass testing, nor does it work in systems that I need it in.

Is it really a lottery now, not knowing whether your buy will contain working chips or not?

I bought recently from Aliexpress (LAKE Store) 256x4 50pcs - all were good. Other chips which were failed then created dispute for them with partial refund.
The key is ALWAYS testing chips after arrive.

Harder part is finding fast 256x4 (45 / 50ns). They are mostly fake.
