I now have two Ditto 800 QIC tape drives. Both of them have the melted to goo drive wheel. I have removed the goo and measured it at wheel at 15.95mm with a caliper. What I do not have is how big the entire wheel would be with the rubber on it. Does anyone have this drive or have the measurement for the middle wheel? It touches the tape wheel and the drive wheel. Thank you!!

I don't know if the Ditto Travan drive in my trash pile has gone to recycling yet, but I can tell you that I refurbished mine with a short section of 4mm silicon vacuum hose, like this. Stuff is very handy for refurbing QIC drive drive wheels in general (e.g. did a couple of Archive drives using the same stuff). It's very stretchy; I secured mine to the shaft with a bit of polyurethane glue.
The problem with the Ditto QIC-type drives is that they're cheaply made and have a lot of plastic parts.

I've got the hose you mentioned. Do you have a picture of how to attach it to the wheel with glue?
